November 2026
About Transit for All PA! and Pittsburghers for Public Transit
Transit for All PA! is a statewide grassroots union of transit riders, workers, and neighbors, organizing for public transit that meets all needs, with no communities left behind. Transit for All PA was founded in 2021 as a statewide campaign led by Pittsburghers for Public Transit (PPT) in collaboration with Transit Forward Philadelphia, the Clean Air Council, and the PA Downtown Center.
Transit for All PA!/PPT is a member-led grassroots union. Our members vote annually to elect fellow members to our Board of Directors, which manages our staff and finances. Members create and vote to approve our yearly campaign plans, and members work on our three volunteer-led committees to do the research, organizing, and communications projects needed to win our campaigns.
Together, we are creating transit systems and communities that work for everybody in our state, by organizing as poor and working-class people in a multi-racial movement for transit justice—and we need you with us in this fight.
